On tap. Poured a yellowish gold with a quickly dissipating white head. Aroma had notes of sweet bananas and cloves. Flavor brought out more of the wheat flavor with the bananas and cloves becoming more of an undertone.

Draft @ Angel & White Horse, Tadcaster, Very good hefe. Really suprised by the low ratings. Slightly hazed yellow pour, Notes of cloves, wheat & slight banana in thearoma & flavor. Smooth, nice mouthfeel. Nice beer

Pours a golden lemon with white head. Aroma is light lemon and flavor is hops and citrus. Nothing very impressive about this hefe, or anything that stuck out.

This is a real eye opener - a UK brewed Hefe that gets it right. I’ve had several pints in differnet pubs around London and my opinion is set: Good work Sam Smiths. First off it comes in a squat, but attractive Hefe glass, with a decent head. Nice orange, cloves and corriander aroma and flavours. Slightly watery, but not unpleasently so. Easy to drink, inexpensive compared to other draft Hefe’s and a lovely warm orange colour to boot. Give it a go.

Å Sim/Elena rate (draft at the Duke of Argyle): Very very wheaty aroma with a bit of vanilla. It’s like a freshly mowed lawn. Tastes like that milk bread. Very fizzy. Kinda like traditional lemonade. Looks like that coudy apple juice but with foam on top. Ooh, and it comes in a cool glass.

I am a Hefe nut, and this beer just hit rock bottom. It looks like a hef should, but I tasted mostly the alcohol rather then the flavor. A dissappointment... however I have had worse then this
