(Cittie of Yorke) Dark yellow colored, hazy appearance. Little white head. Glue dominates this thin fruity banana aroma, some wheaty spiciness also present. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor has also this tangy glue in it, not as strong here than in aroma though. Banana also here with some yeast. Well, might be something wrong here.

Several pubs around london. Beautiful cloudy golden apparance - mild aroma, slightly lemony. Impressive sharpness to the taste. A tiny bit too sweet, but nevertheless very impressive for a British attempt at the style. Quality is very dependent on the pub, it seems, as this seems to be far better in some of the london Sam Smiths pubs than others.

Draught (Cittie of Yorke, London) Cloudy yellow - thin light head. Good german style wheat beer. Light wheat and corriander aroma. Fizzy and sharp in the mouth. Slightly corny - caramel and candyfloss - sweetness, some light banana. Very authentic. Sessionable at 5% no doubt.

Pint in the Waterguard, Cardiff. Aroma spices, lemon and coriander. Cloudy yellow in appearance. Rich smooth texture with spice and citrus in the flavour. Not a fan on this type of beer but enjoyed this one a lot.

I was impressed for this being brewed in England. nose is lemony with some clove, and very little banana but is a bit faint for the style. looked nice though, golden orangish cloudy color, that always looks good in the tall wizen glass. Flavors were lemon, spice, corriander. not bad at all

Half pint on draught. Hazy yellow. Only a tiny white head. Fruity aroma of coriander and flavour of sweet cloves. Refreshing and a good partner to French Brie (served in a stylish Ayinger glass at The Cittie of Yorke 20.09.2006).

Draught at The Cittie of York Holborn London WC1 20 Sep 06. Golden coloured. Unclear. A rapidly stabilizing white head. Caramellish, fruity aroma. Sweet fruity flavour. Hardly any bitterness. Too sweet to be refreshing.
