| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Pours a clear bright copper bronze with a well-lacing frothy white head. Aroma of semi-sweet toasty pale malts and some funky cheesy brett. Body starts lightly sweet and fully carbonated with a mild sweetness and some earthy bittering hoppiness before a drier semi-sweet pale malty finish. Finishes, airy, watery and drier. Definitely has some strange funk to it, but it’s still fairly-well balanced and complex. jcwattsrugger (5403), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Caramel and malt dominates at first, then a slight vegetal flavor. Finishes resiny and sticky. Sampled at 2007 Hickory Hops. ChainGangGuy (2568), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Mar 29, 2008 Appearance: Pours a clear, coppery body with a medium-sized, white head.
Smell: Mild aroma, but what is there is a tart-smelling note of shamed fruits. Oh dear.
Taste: Blast! This funky, tart fruitiness obscures any proper tastes of malts of hops. This, friends, is a disaster.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: This is the second bottle from Azalea Coast that seemed conspiciously tainted. They’re becoming the Siletz of the East Coast! unclemattie (2416), Georgia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 20, 2008 22oz bottle. Golden color. Stale aged aroma. Flavor is blah. Big bitterness in the finish. That’s all this bottle had. alexanderj (2263), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 2, 2008 Bottle; a pretty attractive pour. Color of copper with a big off white head. Aroma was strange; oranges, bread, and caramel with a pronounced sour/tart component. Flavor; probably would never have guessed this was an IPA; probably would have guessed some form of amber ale. Not too hoppy in the finish. That being said, it didn’t really taste all that bad. A little bit of balance and some complexity. Decent beer, just not a great representation of the style.
