wyzzywyz22 (387), Wirral, Merseyside, England Sep 1, 2008 Bottle, Federale, Zurich. Poured a dark chestnut brown with a naff off white head. Sweet malty aroma. Thin body. Some caramel in the flavour but very dull and lacklustre on the whole. Dryish finish. Yawn.
Allen (632), Wölflinswil, Switzerland Aug 28, 2008 Bottled 33cl. It pours a pale chestnut colored beer with a decent head. Both nose and taste are mainly of figs. Some caramel and raisins showing up. Medium bodied. Sweet. Buttery. Slightly sour. Not a lot of bitterness. Dry malty finish with hints of raisins and lemon. Chris_Thomson (183), Luzern, Switzerland Sep 30, 2007 Luzern, 07. Pours an amber-brown colour, with very light white head. Scent of figs and sour fruit. The body was quite light, with taste was overly sour for my liking. beerlady (230), lucerne, Switzerland Mar 23, 2007 reddish-dark chestnut colour

Daredevil (77), Bern, Switzerland Sep 17, 2006 Most Swiss brewers have a "Dunkel" in their range, but few (actually I don’t know of any ...) would take great care of it .... this one makes no exception ... amber in color it tastes like a lightly malted lager rather than an ambitious dark beer ...
