Commercial Description:

Cask (Live and Let Live, Cambridge)
Fruity zesty aroma. Decent mix of bitter and aromatic hops, not too thin for a golden ale, but a little sweet perhaps.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Wig and Pen, Northampton. A golden coloured beer with an off-white head. The aroma is citric with some subtle lemon notes. The taste is bitter. Quite sharp notes. Reasonable hops. Nice.

A Mes rate: Cask handpull at the Junction Tavern. Copper with a slight tan head. Nice sweet malt aroma with a delicate hint of alcohol. More sweet malt in the flavour with slight spicy and peppery notes. Slight alcohol in the hoppy finish but no real bitterness.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Glenn Miller themed beer. The bandleader departed on his final flight from an air base near Bedford. Pleasant, summery golden ale, not quite bitter enough and nowhere near so interesting as the music.
