Striking dark amber colour with a rich brown hue. Nice sweet malt aroma. Unexpected fruity hops in the mouth following the nose. Very slight ginger notes. Grapefruit hop finish.

Jan 28, 2008 Cask handpull at Pembury Tavern, London. Brown/gold with very thin beige head. Nice hop, raspberry sherbert aroma. OK in mouth, some wateryness, raspberry sherbert continues. Finish lacks bite.

Dec 9, 2007 Cask handpump at The Wellington, Birmingham. Copper with a short head. Orange-citrus hops in the scent with some biscuit malts there too. Slight bitterness and quite dry. Tastes are fruity with a little earthy malt on the end. Good.
