Cask conditioned @ Nags Head, Reading. Light bodied with some reasonable malt flavours and some tangy fruit. I felt the flavours were slightly muddy as it was near the end of the barrel but other people were enjoying it in the pub, it seemed to be the fastest selling and more than one person went back for another.

Half pint on gravity. Black body with ruby highlights. Thin, beige head. Some laceworks. It offers notes of malt in aroma and a taste of roasted malts with a touch of liquorice. Light bitter ending. Watered mouthfeel (afternoon session at London Drinker BF, 12.03.2008).

NOt really convinced about it being a porter, but was not a stout and it was far from being a smokd. It had a nice sweet alcohoic taste, quitemalty. Good foam and not tiring.
