Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Apr 1, 2008 Cask conditioned @ Nags Head, Reading. Light bodied
with some reasonable malt flavours and some tangy fruit. I felt the
flavours were slightly muddy as it was near the end of the barrel but
other people were enjoying it in the pub, it seemed to be the fastest
selling and more than one person went back for another. Rune (1508), Tromsø, Norway Mar 19, 2008 Half pint on gravity. Black body with ruby highlights. Thin, beige head. Some laceworks. It offers notes of malt in aroma and a taste of roasted malts with a touch of liquorice. Light bitter ending. Watered mouthfeel (afternoon session at London Drinker BF, 12.03.2008). Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 16, 2007 Cask at GBBF 2007. A dark brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and roasted malt as well as light notes of chocolate. Comments: Yeasty, malty, dark coloured mild that shows more fruitiness than most.
Nekronos (1851), Xalapa, Mexico Oct 24, 2007 NOt really convinced about it being a porter, but was not a stout and it was far from being a smokd. It had a nice sweet alcohoic taste, quitemalty. Good foam and not tiring.
