Cask conditioned - handpump - OGs Wellingborough. A copper coloured beer with an off-white head and lacing. Hidden in this beer is some citrus hop and a little alcohol character, but sadly my half was blighted by age and signs of the bottom of the barrel. Fruit skin aromas and flavours and a thin cardboardy palate. Not good nor right.

Cask at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark gold. Only the faintest aroma. Some maltiness in the taste. Rather thin and lacking in body. Not surprising considering the name. Some residual bitterness. Not one of B&T’s best. And the pumpclip design is amateurish.
