This beer was in the peak of condition and as fresh as they come. Smooth malty base with a dry bitter finish. Very enjoyable. DruncanVeasey (2768), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England

Brilliant straw with a fine white collar and lace. Lemony metallic aroma weak with grassy hops. Too much almond and grain. Watery melon fruit, faint rubber. Wheaty corny afters with butter. More cereals than hops, but some OK lemon and lime notes sneaking through. Dry on the end. Doesnt disgrace itself, but a pretty sub-standard GA.

Another good beer ruined by JD Wetherspoons. Evidently there’s a good bitter in here trying to get out, but what hit my tastebuds was well past its best. Must re-rate one which JDW haven’t got their hands on. greig (174), Hamilton, New Zealand

Notes: Straw coloured, very little aroma. Drying hops on the palate balance a malty sweetness. Fairly forgettable beer. cgarvieuk (4225), Edinburgh, Scotland
