Sampled during Great Taste of Midwest ’09 in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a still dark white zinfandel colored mead with a clean disk top and average viscosity tears inside glass. Aroma of dark berries, sweet clover honey, with a hint of dark grapes. Taste has a nice balance flavor of sweet honey and dark berries, with a hint of tropical fruit. Finish is a tad thick, sweet with a little alcohol bit after the finish. A sweet fruity mead with some extra alcohol warmth is the best to describe this excellent mead.

Nov 13, 2009 ( 750ml bottle thanks to BMan1113VR) Pours clear deep red. Nose of strawberry, alcohol, honey. Taste matches but also very hot alcohol, finishes nicely sweet that’s not syrupy.

Oct 22, 2009 Bottle from BMan. The look is clear, red in color, not real head. The smell is fruits, lots of different types of berries, and honey. The taste is the same as the smell with lots of alcohol added.

Oct 14, 2009 bottle thanks to bman1113vr. woohoo my rating gives it a score!! poured a raspberry red color. aroma was strawberry pancakes and whip cream. flavor was the same with the addition of raspberry and alcohol. this had an extremely smooth body. very nice.
