Hazy amber color, small off-white head. Caramelly sweety, light hops in the aroma. Sweetish, a bit alcoholic. Kind of so and so beer. Basta brews are all drinkable, but not impressive.

Aug 8, 2008 (6/23/08) Draught at the brewpub in Prague. Deep amber-brown with a big beige creamy head. Aroma of toasted malt and a bit of yeast. Malty sweetish flavor with some toastiness and caramel and a drier finish with some spicy hints. Medium-bodied. Nice.
Svesse (1811), Hässelby, Sweden
Aug 2, 2008 (Draught at Pivovar Bašta, Prague, 21 July 2008) Dark reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, orange and lots of toffee. Malty taste with notes of caramel, toffee, nuts, apricots and blood oranges. Complex stuff with some spicy hops. Very nice one.

Shady copper color, fluffy tan head. Spicy, sweet, alcohol, soapy hops scent. Hoppy, sweet but dry, taste, bitter and licorice aftertaste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Also coffee in the aftertaste.
oh6gdx (6332), Vaasa, Finland
Jul 1, 2008 Draught. Amber colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is licorice, malts, mild apicing as well as some fruits. Flavour is bigtime licorice with some malts, mildly salted nuts as well as some slight hoppy bitterness. Some diacetyl is also coming in in the finish.
