Bottle. Pours a clear copper body with thin head. aroma is of light malt, light hops, a pleasant floral scent that I couldn’t figure out. Flavor is mild, lightly sweet. The hops are light and somewhat supressed into the flavor. Sweet malty backbone. Very sessionable.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a very hazy typically carbonated body. The funky aroma was malty and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mediumly tingly finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and brown malt. Eh, not for me.

Bottle compliments of patrick767. Very small ivory head that mostly diminished, no lacing, visible carbonation, hazy-opaque, and a deep orange hue. Nose was caramel, malty and some hoppiness. Flavor was malty, caramel, lightly hoppy, lightly bitter, sweet and has a dry finish. Smooth, dry and a somewhat thin mouthfeel. Medium body. Not a great brew, but definitely not a bad one either.

bottle - Pours hazy light amber with very little head. The caramel malt and hop aroma is definitely that of an English pale. There’s a decent, mildly hoppy flavor that’s well balanced. Medium bodied with a smooth finish, this wasn’t great by any means, but it was better than I expected given the gimmicky packaging.

12oz Bottle Pours out a nice amber topped with a fair off white head. A pretty good aroma of malt and sweet maybe caramel. The tast is about the same. This one is much better than I was thinking it was going to be.

Super cool packaging. I got this at a bargain price and didn’t expect much. It has a definately unique flavor. There is more here than a regular domestic beer. But, this isn’t a beer that I would drink regularly. I recommend that one tries this once and then forgets about it.

Won a gold medal at the World Expo of Beer in the pale ale category. Pours an orange color with a small head. Strong caramel and malt aroma. Taste is similar, but not very overpowering. Lots of taste, yet remains refreshing. I have to say this is the most unique bottle/packaging I have seen. Huge style points to Michigan Brewing for such a classic product.

strong caramel & malt feel in this thing. I found this on clearance for about $1.49 4pack, so I expected it to suck...I can say I’m rather suprised, as it is well worth the 37 cents a bottle! In a way it has an rough, almost home-brew quality...I’d swear I made this stuff by accident once....
