| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 6, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear copper body with thin head. aroma is of light malt, light hops, a pleasant floral scent that I couldn’t figure out. Flavor is mild, lightly sweet. The hops are light and somewhat supressed into the flavor. Sweet malty backbone. Very sessionable. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 1, 2007 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a very hazy typically carbonated body. The funky aroma was malty and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mediumly tingly finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and brown malt. Eh, not for me. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Bottle compliments of patrick767. Very small ivory head that mostly diminished, no lacing, visible carbonation, hazy-opaque, and a deep orange hue. Nose was caramel, malty and some hoppiness. Flavor was malty, caramel, lightly hoppy, lightly bitter, sweet and has a dry finish. Smooth, dry and a somewhat thin mouthfeel. Medium body. Not a great brew, but definitely not a bad one either. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 21, 2007 bottle - Pours hazy light amber with very little head. The caramel malt and hop aroma is definitely that of an English pale. There’s a decent, mildly hoppy flavor that’s well balanced. Medium bodied with a smooth finish, this wasn’t great by any means, but it was better than I expected given the gimmicky packaging. BuckeyeBoy (1674), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Feb 11, 2007 12oz Bottle Pours out a nice amber topped with a fair off white head. A pretty good aroma of malt and sweet maybe caramel. The tast is about the same. This one is much better than I was thinking it was going to be. angolajones (14), Angola, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 17, 2006 Super cool packaging. I got this at a bargain price and didn’t expect much. It has a definately unique flavor. There is more here than a regular domestic beer. But, this isn’t a beer that I would drink regularly. I recommend that one tries this once and then forgets about it. DrewTaylor (154), Michigan, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Dec 8, 2006 Won a gold medal at the World Expo of Beer in the pale ale category. Pours an orange color with a small head. Strong caramel and malt aroma. Taste is similar, but not very overpowering. Lots of taste, yet remains refreshing. I have to say this is the most unique bottle/packaging I have seen. Huge style points to Michigan Brewing for such a classic product. wickster (35), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 1, 2006 strong caramel & malt feel in this thing. I found this on clearance for about $1.49 4pack, so I expected it to suck...I can say I’m rather suprised, as it is well worth the 37 cents a bottle!
In a way it has an rough, almost home-brew quality...I’d swear I made this stuff by accident once....
