Bottle from BevMo. Pours a very light yellow color. Slightly sweet acidic aroma. This is a fairly uninspired perry. My bottle comes in at 5.9%.

Sampled at Broudy’s Holiday Beerfest 12/2/2006. Very pale cider appearance. Sweet pear aroma and flavor, a little cider flavor, and maybe a white wine feel, but not much of any flavor. I didn’t hate it, but it didn’t appeal to me either. I’m not a fan of ciders. More of a novelty drink.

Babycham Pours clear and slightly yellow, looks like a light apple juice. Very little carbonation. Aroma reminds me of the hair salon when my mom used to get a perm back in the eighties. Sweet, pear and apple flavor but I can’t get over that aroma! It makes it hard to bring the lass to my mouth! Medicinal aftertaste. This is not good by any stretch of the imagination.

Possibly the best thing to come out of Bristol since John Cabot. O.K., a little exaggerated but this wasn’t too bad a drop overall. It poured a, umm, clear pear colour with a slowly forming, thin and stable head of cream that lasted and left a leg or two. Initially pleasant, soft pulped pear aroma which quickly became candyish and chemical (chlorine?). First mouthful was unusually gammy, sweet and a little cloying yet it became quite tolerable after a few sips. Pear flavours dominate with a good dose of chardonnay white wine in the back end. Carbonation wanes quickly and it becomes rather smooth on the tongue. Sweet for the length, even long into the swallow which made the small bottle size actually suitable. Chilled it was easy to drink, but at cellar temperature may tell a different story. Better than a Blackthorn!!! (20cL, unknown bottle date, Moon & Sixpence, Woodvale)

200 ml green bottle. Very pale straw colour with a quickly diminsihing fizzy white head. Light pear and cheap sparkling wine aroma. Light pear flavour, very sweet and sugary. Light bodied, syrupy but fizzy. Spumante, anyone?

Pale wee coloured - then some perries are. Aromas are sweet in a sugary sense with some chemicals. Flavours are sweet, dry almost pears with chemicals. Not acidicy or mustiness. Not a good perry.

Bottled. Pale yellow, highly carbonated. I can’t believe I am rating this. Sweet, cloying gassy concoction. A hint of sweet fruit but not much else.

Bottled at the RB Joet London gathering. Joeh’s joke contribution. Very slight sulphur on the nose. Some vague fruit. Prickly mouthfeel, a bit flabby. Not much flavour, but not offensive.
