Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk.
Pours very pale golden. The limited head that I was ale to obtain fizzes away instantly. Aroma is actually quite champagne-like, some green grapes and a little cardboard and general sweetness. High carbonation, watery palate. Flavour is almost non-existent. Light papery dryness, some sweetness - pear and grapes. Not overly terrible, but the bottle is still exceptionally cool (tiny 0.20 litre one)

Bottle from asda. Eventually i get round to babycham, you know your tight for ratings when your on this! Aroma is sweet metallic, hints at tart apples more than pears i thought, thoguht as it finishes closer to pear drops. Taste is similar, harsh carbonation, again metallic in the finish.

Bottle. Flavour of cheap sparkling wine. Short softly acidic, lightly carbonated mouthfeel. Some apple/pear fruit. Not much happening to be honest.

Bottled. Pale yellow, highly carbonated. I can’t believe I am rating this. Sweet, cloying gassy concoction. A hint of sweet fruit but not much else.

Very sparkling and dry with a touch of perry. I don’t like the bottle though. It’s too girlish.

Pours almost clear. Smells of sweet pears. Tastes sickly sweet and sugary. Drain pour.

This has a very pale yellow body that began quite lively but soon flattened out. The aroma has the light scents of pears and sweet apples with a drop of vinegar. Good thing the light body has some spritz left in it, because the delicate, sweet pear tastes are almost light enough to miss, letting you think you’d had a glass of water. Not offensive by any means, but nothing really ever happens.

Pale yellow color with a few white bubbles on top. Mineral and acidic aromas. Unfortunately reminds me of asparagus after it has traversed the urinary tract. Mild pear and sauerkraut flavors. Enough sweetness that helps assuage some of the flavors, but I’m still quite puzzled bu this one. I think if you drink it cold and quick enough you miss some of the things that make me wonder if I should really be drinking this.
