Appearance: Pale, like a white wine... a light chardonnay hue or something. No head on here, (not sure to expect one?) and it sparkles a little but calms quite quickly.

Aroma: Smells more like apple than pear, at least to my nose. Not robust at all, with a slight grape scent also floating around. Maybe even a little bit of a chemical aroma.

Taste: It’s not making me spit it out in dread, but it’s not good. It tastes kind of like a very cheap white tablewine or champagne... or a weird sort of cooler. There’s almost a spoiled fruit - or maybe it’s just BAD fruit - flavour. Actually, that’s on the nose, too, a bit.

Mouthfeel / notes: It’s rather dry, which would be nice if it were any good. Unfortunately, it’s not, and the dryness isn’t even that much of a positive point, honestly. The sparkling quality of it falls way short, and leaves a little bit of a smacking tackiness after the semi-dry finish. I sometimes like to start with something that is a little lower quality so that I feel really pleasantly surprised (or even blown away) by the good stuff, but when it’s like this, it makes me feel kind of afraid to try any others. Not something I could recommend.

750 ml bottle. Currently lists 5.9% abv. Smell is lightly alcoholic like cheap champagne, little fruit character, Pour bright yellow, a few bubbles. Taste does show some pear to it. Sweet, somewhat alcoholic. Nice for serving at holiday gatherings or as a gift, but it doesn’t have much complexity beyond fermented pear juice.

This bottled perry from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated yellow colored body. The mild aroma was pear. The crisp and clean mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The good flavor contained notes of pear. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Like many beers of this night, the aroma is the best part. Strong pear orchard smell with a light, washed out flavor. More natural tasting than the woodchuck, tho, but the sparkles make my belly hurt and make my rear end sing. Bottle at Stop and Shop Coral Gables.

Sampled at International Beer Garten (Lutz, FL). I’m not a fan a champagne so this one doesn’t rate to high in my book as that is exactly what it reminds me of. Clear, bubbly pour. Sweet aroma with a dry pear flavor.

750 ml green screw cap bottle poured a clear pale yellow with a lingering ring of white bubbles. Aromas of apple, pear and a hint of vinegar. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of pear and apple with a crisp dry fruity finish.

Pours almost clear. Smells of sweet pears. Tastes sickly sweet and sugary. Drain pour.

Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD’s girlfriend, Cyn, for sharing! Pours a clear light gold with lots of bubbles. Sweet fruity aroma, of pear and apples. Taste is sweet and dry, of pear and yeast. Lingering fruitiness that ends bit watery. Not bad but very drinkable.
