I feel like I’ve been mugged, although it’s my own fault. Looks identical to Liefmans and I bought it on that assumption. Not even remotely in the same class. This is overly sweet without the required balancing sourness. Unpleasant artificial aftertaste.

Bottle at home .. This once a bit of a delima as its quite easy drinking, but there again so is squash... dark brown only a liuttle red in colour ... sweet one dimensional raspberry ... soft thin mouthfell and a bit over fizzy ... reasonable raspberry. tones little citric... and definitly a bit jammy... i would imagine very plesant chilled on a summers day but as a sit down beer it lacks something

Bottle, Cape Of Good Hope, Oxford. Red with pink-white head. Raspberry jam and vanilla aroma. Raspberry syrup flavor, with not much else. Sweetened fruit beers tend to one of my guilty-pleasure sorts of beers. But even being inclined favorably to this sort of thing, I found this one-dimentional and heavy handed. Not unpleasant, but also not unlike the result of stirring a spoonful of raspberry jam into a glass of soda water.

Bottle 375ml. @ chris o’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2008.
Clear medium red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - light pink head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy raspberry sweet. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (020808)
