Aroma of fresh rather than artificial cherries was a pleasant surprise. Tastes of fresh cherries too, with a little sweet almond. It’s perfectly balanced against hints of sourness and dry woodiness. I’m not normally a fan of cherry beers, but this is pretty good - I can’t believe quite how much nicer it is than the raspberry version. Yves (1009), Beerse, Belgium

Pours clear red-brown with a medium, frothy, dark-pink head. Aroma has lots of cherries, some raisins and subdued caramel. Medium carbonation, fine mouthfeel. Rather sugary sweet at first, but then some good, tart cherry takes over. It is okay, but not fabulous in any way. ChristianScheffel (4529), Odense, Denmark

Clear ruby-red, pinkish creamy head. Aroma of cherries, a bit sweet. Good mouthfeel. Sweet cherries, but a bit tart, like cherries that has been lying outside. Light sugary synthetic.
