| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 28, 2003 Thanks to BigBadBear63 for sending me yet another of his fine local brews! A murky bronzed copper colored body with a fluffy creamy head floating atop. The aroma is an orchard of fruity perfumes, plumes, overly ripened blackberries & raspberries, cranberry juice, a sweet caramel maltyness as well.
The flavor is far different than the aroma. Big caramel malty existence, then a herbal yet woodsy hops bitterness. Nice smooth lightly creamy palate with a dry & bitter finish; Overall a well crafted Ale. Cheers again Mike!

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2003 Copper hue with small white head and no lacing, light to medium-bodied. Very malty aroma of caramel and grain. Lighty citrusy hints. Crisp on the palate, tart hops give way to the malt, well balanced. Dry and soft mouthfeel. Slighty metallic on the finish. A well made ale and one of my choices of an everyday session beer. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA

I always stock up on their beers in Mishawaka when I vist the pops. Hoppy, a little malt balance and fair body, appearance. Not a piney West coast hoppy, just good solid doses. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 8, 2003 Hazy brown/orange body. Starts with a nice fruity malt sweetness and thick, then finishes with a slightly metallic hop. For some reason, the palate seemed not continous - started off feeling thick, but finished on the watery side. Anyway, I could easilly sit around drinking this all afternoon. If they’re going to the trouble of bringing in guest beers, the least we can do is drink them! A nice, coppery APA body under a thin APA head. It’s a very respectable APA, but it simply seems too average next too all this 3Fs stuff!. Clean, well-tuned, not a lot of faults to it. Not a very distinct hop profile, either, which is a mark against it, but a minor one.
