Aroma of some lightly citrusy hops and pale malt. Body starts fairly standard, a little sweet and pale malty with a decent flavor and bittering hop balance toward a slightly earthy bittersweet finish. An ok APA. EithCubes (2162), Indiana, USA

Funny, this is the first time I’ve seen a brewer try to profit from a terrorist attack. Grassy hops dominate the nose with a touch of grapefruit. Clear orange with a soapy white head. Taste is bitter, grassy and piney with only a touch of fruitiness but a nice developing biscuity/bready flavor. Sweetish middle, medium body and not quite oily. Not so bad. Really need to talk to that label department, though. Cornfield (4961), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 23, 2007 Refreshing, sessionable beer. The body’s pale apricot in color and it has a well sustained head. There’s a handful of particles floating about although I thought my bottle to be reasonably fresh. The aroma is full of pink grapefruit with a suggestion of pine lurking in the background. In flavor it retains that juicy, pink grapefruit taste, the sweet grainy malt emerging to balance it out nicely. Not bad.

Pretty highly carbonated. Grassy bitternes. Eeeh. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 22, 2005 On tap at the brewery. Very clear and pale orange in color with a thin white layer for the head. Aroma is more in line with a cream ale, placated with honey and vanilla, and barely a trace of a hop bouquet, along with some lemons and pils malt. Nice bitter first quaff, drawing on lemon grass and pine. Somewhat light-bodied and slippery with a resonating bitter touch. Decent. npdempse (931), St. Petersburg, Florida, USA

This APA poured a lustrous amber / copper colored body and a oversize frothy tan colored head. I picked up on many fruity notes, apples, peaches, pears, some remarks of caramel and that rustic and woodsy likeness found in many English Pale Ales. The finish is a bit astringent, a light metallic presence, but I don’t recognize why everyone is so down this APA, it’s pretty decent stuff.
Thanks again Mike!
