Pours dark brown with a tan head. Smells of cherries, licorice, chocolate, some dark fruity hints. Tastes lightly tarte and chocolatey with some spicey elements, dark fruit, earthy. Enjoyable.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) A black beer with an orangey hue and a light brown head. Delicate, vinous port like nose with plenty of dried fruit. Medium-bodied - a bit too carbonated - with lots of hard roasted malt and some accents of dried fruit. Dry, light bitter finish. 290806

Bottled. Pitch black coloured. Dense brownish head. Heavy roast and cocoa in the aroma. Notes of sweet fruits. Alchol, light fruits, roast and coffee in the flavour. Good sweet balance. Medium to full body. Roasted bitter end with good lasting. Thanks to BBB63 for this.

A very dark brown beer with a fast disappearing light brown head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by chocolate. The flavor is sweet chocolaty leading to a dry woody end. The alcohol burns lightly in the throat.

Bottled. Dark brown coloured. Fruity, malty, roasty, nice. Well balanced and soft. Faint smoky notes. Slightly dry finish.

Nose is dominated with chocolate, bit of raisons buried. Flavour was mainly coffee, with some livelyness on the end. Near flaming in the mouth.

12 oz bottle, via BBB63. Pours a black colored body under a large fluffy light brown head almost 4 fingers in height. Aroma is loaded with caramel and roasted malt. Some licorice, chocolate, alcohol, and dry yeast. Flavor up front is balanced between caramel and burnt malt with a finish that features alcohol and char. Very hot with the alcohol in fact. Mouthfeel is oily in texture with moderate fizzy carbonation. Quite a bit of burnt astringency on the finish. Overall, this was pretty decent, but not amazing.

Bottle. Dark cola with a moderate film of bubbles. Nose-charred marshmallow, dark fruits. Taste-slightly metallic, light powdered chocolate slightly burnt.
