Commercial Description:
Our Belgian-Style wit (white) has pilsen malt as well as malted and unmalted wheat to produce that classic hazy canary color and soft palate. Coriander (seed of cilantro) and orange peel are used in the brewing process to develope a delicious taste best described as citrusy/celery like. This beer drinks easy and finishes with a refreshing tartness. It is brewed from June to September.

Pale blond grapefruit color with bubble cloisters adhering to the sides of the glass, rising to the top and popping at the surface to form a tiny head. Lemons shaved and smashed on honey dough introduce the aroma, with spiced nodes of cardamom and referencing cola traits, and coriander, to foot the rest of the bill. Sweet honey and biscuit flavor characteristics are congealed with a searing lemon and coriander twangs. Wishy washy skew of a French bakery with exploding spice canisters. Wholesome kneaded dough with bitter orange peel makes a final attempt to keep this one in purgatory and halt the decent into hell. Lighter-bodied, semi-effervescent and keeling to broaching acidity. Green cardamom reverberations hug like fresh ginger cola in the finish. Thanks for the Indiana treat, BBB63!

Thanks to BBB63 for this one. Pours a cool hazy yellow color, small white head. Aroma is pleasant and not overwhelming. Cloves and bananas, all that good stuff. Flavor is sharp, sweet with lots of banana. Very sweet. Whoo ah.

Thanks to Mike. The brew pours to a hazy orange golden body with no head. The aroma is huge. Nice banana, coriander, orange peel. The flavor is coriander, orange peel, toasty grains, sweet. The palate is pretty typical. Light, slick, tart. Good texture.

Draft sample at IBGF 06. Orange copper color with a minimal white head that diminished quickly. Moderate banana citrus aroma. Light body. Medium sweet flavor with a sweet tart finish of short duration.

12 ounce bottle with lunch over Memorial Day weekend 06. Amazingly an agresive pur couldn’t conjure up any head. That’s not good. It did have a ncie and fluffy yellow orange hue to it that look pretty nice. Fairly sweetish aroma with the typical corriander and citrus blend. Sweet citrus flavor with a mild spicey finish. Fluffy mouthfeel with a mild tart finish.

Bottle from BBB63. Hazy golden/yellow colored. Decent white head and some lacing. Orange and coriander seem to make up the aroma. Lighter bodied, nicely carbonated. Again, orange and coriander spice flavors dominate the flavor. Solid, if not outstanding.

Bottle acquired in trade with BBB63 (thanks!). Poured a darker and cloudy yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of citrus, coriander and yeast. Decent witbier aromas. Tastes of the same although on the lghter side. Thinner and watery body.

Thanks to BBB63 for this bottle! Pours a bit dark for a Wit, with all the cloudy stuff going on too. Soft aromas of citrus and buiscuity malts. The corriander emerges as it warms. A little thin bodied, but the flavors were right on. Lightly doughy, but mainly orange and spicy corriander. Finishes clean.
