| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 9, 2004 Updated: Jun 11, 2004I swear to god this is my witbier. I wonder if I could sue. I doubt it. I don’t think they’d have access to my recipe. Chalk-cloudy yellow-tan body is topped by a fleeting white head. The aroma is sourish (almost like a dish rag, but not in a bad way) with coriander dominating slightly over the orange peel. The flavor is lightly tart, wheaty and nicely spiced. Excellent and flavorful. The only difference between this and my witbier is that my witbier is more acidic. This is lightly tart, mine is almost on the mild end of lambic tart. This is a better beer than mine. Drew (2409), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 7, 2004 Hazy deep yellow gold, large fluffy head and good lacing. Aroma was clove and herbal, but not very strong. Flavor was lemon, citrus and coriander; hints of orange peel now and then. Finished with some moderately sour tangyness, but still mostly refreshing. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 30, 2004 Bottle. Poured a small sized white head and fine-small sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. Malty and spicy aroma and a malty and sour flavor. Smooth and somewhat watery and thin mouthfeel. Light bodied beer with very sparse lacing. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 28, 2004 This bottled brew poured a small sized head of fine to medium sized white colored mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body was softly carbonated transparent and yellow orange colored. The aroma was malty and mildly skunked. The mouth feel was smooth malty and mildly tingly. The flavor contained notes of malt mild hops slight acidness and some astringency. humulus (338), Salem, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2004 Glows orange with wheaty goodness in the growler and glass. Pours light headed and with a slight cloudiness. The aroma is a bit sour and the flavor is lacking in the complexity that you look for in a Wit. Staw/grassy flavor and a citrus note but not enough to balance the overly sweet malts. Overall, just not as well crafted as it should be, but not horrible. Silphium (2137), Haslett, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 24, 2004 Fresh 2004 edition, from a growler. Poured cloudy yellow-orange (approaching neon orange) with a thin off-white head. Gorgeous beer. Coriander, lemon, and orange peel aroma. Unfortunately, the flavor doesn’t have the acidic bite I look for in a witbier to balance out the yeast phenols. The flavor had lots of coriander and some orange peel, but phenols mute the citrus acidity. Publican (16), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Light orange colour with rapidly disipating head, citrus aroma, slightly sour and citric taste with little finish. I rate this my third best witbier after Brussels white and Blanc de Chambley
