Commercial Description:
Back Road Bock is made malty from German pilsen and munich malts. Kettle additions of German tettnang hops are used to add a mild grassy flavor. These flavors are balanced to produce a beer smooth and easy to drink. It is around for a short time and is available in growlers and party pigs only.

Bottle: This has a clear light amber body with a huge crusty head. No lacing. There’s an odd floral aroma over some faint generic malt scents. Thin but well carbonated. It has a malty sweetness, but there’s and off tartness near the finish. Maybe some earthy hops, too. Bock? Koza Brada may mean "I’m not really a -".

Pours a hazy light amber color with a white head. Aroma is light malt, some tartness, and a hint of sour apple. Flavor is sour fruit, and a tart finish.

Koza Brada Bock. Moderate malty aroma. Light chocolate aroma. Moderate floral hop aroma. Amber color, clear. Light off-white head low head retention and light lacing. Sour, acidic initial flavor dominates the low malt backgound. Hop bitterness struggles against the sour signs of an infection that hopefully, has not run rampant throughout the brew house. Light body, smooth mouthfeel. Sour finish.

Koza Brada Bock: Pours a hazy copper bronze with clingy, thin off-white head. Aroma of sweet crystal malt with some tart notes. Starts with a fizzy acidity and a touch of sweetness, but an obvious infection. Would be nice to try a non-infected bottle.

Bottle, Koza Brada Bock. Strong spicy aroma took me by surprise. A good deal of sweet malt there mixing strangely with grass. Clear orange-amber body with a large soapy eggshell head. Sour, lightly acidic beginning, floral fruits at the front of the wave with faint bitterness and caramel toward the end. Doesn’t quite veer to metallic. Medium-thin body. Some work to be done here.

On tap only, Koza Brada: A 2nd running from the batch of doublebock then dry hopped: A clean amber hue with a small frothy head and good lace. The aroma hints of grassy and floral hops, light caramel and toasted malts, touch of fruit(apple and plum), bready and zesty yeast esters. The taste is refreshing and balanced. Bitter with a nice background of sweet chocolate malts. The finish has a metallic and malty nature. The mouthfeel is lively and clean.

This is not a bock. Thin, bland, and fruity. Seems almost watered down.
