BBB63 (4198), La Porte, Indiana, USA May 25, 2008 Growler (Tap Only offering) and served in my Back Road pint glass:
Hazy amber hue with a huge frothy head which left good lace upon the glassware. The aroma has notes of caramelized and bready malts, grassy and spicy noble hops, light pear and tangerine esters along with some earthy yeast vapours. The taste starts a tad fruity and herbal with a light handed sweet bread malt background. Moderate bitterness and chalkiness upon the finish. The mouth feel is sprite and refreshing with thin to medium-body, dry chalky finish. Not too bad at all, not too sure if to style but so what. Yummy and very drinkable.
