Commercial Description:
You say you like Hops? Lets just see if you can handle this! Our IPA (Indiana Pale Ale) has enough hops to float a battleship. Let the resiny grapefruit-like hop flavor and aroma stimulate the senses and smack your buds. This beer style is extremely high in hop flavor and aroma, not to mention alcohol.

I was pleasantly suprised by this beer. I ahv ehad some bad experiences with Back Road, but continually give it a shot and this is why. Good color and aroma with a good amount of hops. Balanced bitterness and hop flavor and aroma. Typical floral/citrus aroma and flavor are rounded out by a medium malt profile. Nto as over the tops as some IPA's but a good shot at the style.

I thought this was quite good. Malty and more full-bodied than Mishawaka’s offering, which I had together with this one. Definitely nice and malty, and with a good cloudy body, perfectly carbonated.

Light amber/orange, and a meager head. Dirty, muddled citrus aroma, not at all or distinct. Tastes like an off batch of homebrew. A very unfocused entry in a pretty distinct category. I’ll agree that bad water may be the culprit. Yech.

Not as much hops as advertised, but still a descent IPA. The water in LaPorte is so terrible, and I think that contributed to this beers lack of flavor as it got warmer. The alcohol was very present in the finish. Upon a retry, I found a fresher, more balanced ale.

Something tasted off about this beer. I’m guessing it was the water.

A decent IPA from a pretty obscure brewery. Bought this while I was in one of those, ’find me a beer I haven’t tried yet’ modes. Very hoppy, not incredibly well balanced but refreshing nonetheless.
