Commercial Description:
A brand new recipe including Columbus and Chinook hops. A increase in the malt as well with a ABV of 7.3%. You say you like Hops? Lets just see if you can handle this! Our IPA (Indiana Pale Ale) has enough hops to float a battleship. Let the resiny grapefruit-like hop flavor and aroma stimulate the senses and smack your buds. This beer style is extremely high in hop flavor and aroma, not to mention alcohol.

Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is malty, and juicy/citrus hops. Flavor is malty, caramel, and citrus hops.

Pours a hazy bronze with an airy, clingy-lacing off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt and some fresh citrusy hops. Body starts with a lot of carbonation, some sweet crystal malt and big grapefruity bittering and flavor hoppiness. Finishes drier and crisp, a pretty decent IPA.

Little surprised at the low average. Not a bad IPA at all. Decent hops. Full taste. Little bitter...but we want that.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a shaker. This IPA poured a slightly hazy orange color with a thick foamy tan head that slowly faded away. Some light lacing was left behind. The aroma of this beer was of very sweet caramel, yeast, and some light pine and citrus. Seems to be more malty than hoppy. The flavor started of with a sweet, buttery, rich, caramel malt taste that was followed by a bitter citrus hop punch. The mouthfeel is medium to full-bodied with a decent amount of carbonation. Slightly risiny. Overall, this beer seemed to have a strange aroma for an IPA, but turned out to have decent balance and flavor. The aroma seemed to be more along the lines of a sweet ESB. A different twist on an IPA.

Bottle. Clear orange body with a full, rocky beige head. Piney hops with a touch of resin, maybe some lighter grapefruit/lychee; overall aroma is strongly hoppy. Sharp, very bitter hop bite with some tropical fruit. Medium-full to full body, alcohol isn’t too out of whack. Sweetness kinda floating around the sides. Aftertaste is bitter, dry, with some resin. Needs some better malt development, but, on the whole, a decent IPA, certainly comparable with Mishawaka’s.

Pours a very dark amber, with extreme cloudiness. Aroma is piney hops with some grapefruit lurking. Taste is much more pine and grass with none of the citrus. Sort of like a homebrew version of GD’s Titan IPA. Very homebrew tasting. Hops are overpowering and out of balance. Beer isn’t bad, but it isn’t good. I left it sitting on the counter for an hour and forgot about it -- not a good sign. Hopefully some of their other brews are better, I will try them as well.

On tap at the brewery. What a hoppy monster. Bitter as all get out. Tons of orangey hop flavor. Big citrus and pine aroma. Drinkable palate. Nice beer from my hometown brewer.

Bottle... Murky orange ale with a big, off-white, orange-tinted head. Terrific, rocky retention. Tangerine, caramel, grapefruit and a rumor of pine in the nose. Malty sweet, fruity flavor up front; followed closely by great bitterness on the backside. Tropical and citrus fruits, toffee and grapefruit rind tannins. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Lengthy, earthy, then bitter finish. Excellent IPA. A boatload of thanks goes out to BBB63 for sending me the bottle!
