Commercial Description:
Relax and go back to a time when things were slower and you didn't even know what millenium meant. Our German style lager is SLOWLY fermented and aged to give it a smooth rich lagered taste. Classic Noble hops and a lager yeast strain are used to impart true European characteristics.

Bottle: Dirty dark honey, small fizzy white head, spotty lacing.   Malty aroma, somewhat musty and heavy, with a heap of dull apple cider.   Subtle, yet somewhat muddy, malt flavor, a dash of Noble hops, with the aformentioned dull flavored apple cider.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Light finish, lingering apple cider.   Not as crisp nor refreshing as other examples, but tiz decent.   Thanks Mike!!

Pours a lighter orange small white head. Aroma is of apricots and grapes. Flavor is bitter and has taste of hops, and a little fruit. A decent rep. of the style, thanks to BBB63 for this tasty brew!

Slight citrus aroma. Fairly smooth brew, but nothing terribly exciting going on.

This is a nice sweet malty helles - malts are thick, slightly carbonated, but very smooth. Hay and grassyness in the aroma and at the finish - nice hop presence here. Very light citrus notes - here at the end there mingling with the sweet bready malts. I liked this one a lot - thanks Mike!

A great Helles - If anyone ever wants to know what Tettnanger tastes like, steer them to Nothern Indiana - I procured a sixer from CityWide in Mishawaka; a pretty good little beer store. This is a super pale malty, highly yeasty rendition (slightly acidic, citric) - lots of country hay, great body, make sure to drip a few drips back into the bottle and swirl all the residual stuff back into your glass; makes the beer softer and fuller. No traditional malt sweetness; this is grassy, dandeliony. Almost to Dominion Lager and Victory Helles and Burgerbrau Wolnzacher territory; yes, it’s that good and I’m a freak for this style. Actually, a lot like Cisco’s Summer of Lager, another great one! Some quality inconsistency within the six pack, but not much.

Clear gold in color, looks very much like what a lager should. Tangy and bitter with a decent sweetness to the malt flavor. There is an earthy hop flavor that lingers.
