bsierra (197), Vista, California, USA Sep 27, 2008 I’m going by memory on this one, it’s been along time since it’s be available. Pours a deep brown hue, with some foxy dark amber peeks. The nose was very malty with the raisins filling in the back, nice. Flavor had rich, thick maltiness leading to notes of brown sugar, caramel, and dark fruits. The raisins add a nice finish, smooth and extremely inviting brew, would be an excellent beer to pair with a nice piece cut of meat, or a plate of "pork chops ’n applesause"...
