On tap at Vista Back Street. Color was a cloudy, pale gold. In the aroma you can really smell the herbs and other ingrediants, that really overpowered the wheat elements. Flavor was very herbal, spicy/pepery, to the point of being almost medicinal. Very overpowing. Interesting beer, but I just did not really love the flavor.

I’ve had this one many times and in various stages of its creation. Pours a hazy golden hue with a bright and fluffy white head. Aroma has many different layers starting with ginger up front followed by spicy notes and fresh herbs. The flavor starts with freshly cut ginger that leads into a full spicy/peppery taste. You start to taste the citrus and other subtle earthy notes in the middle followed by a crisp, spicy finish that leave you thirsting for another. This would be an incredible beer for pairing with a tangy ginger chicken or fish dinner, or a perfect match for a tasty sushi entree. A unique and imaginative beer!
