Tap @ Vista location. Poured a hazed copper with an off-white head. Toasty caramel malt aroma. Caramel and citrus flavor. Light to medium body.

[Part of sampler @Vista, CA] Very drinkable beer. The best I sampled at Back Street. Light amber colour, hoppy with a sweet aftertaste. Warm. Nice.

From tap in Irvine. Light amber brown color with a thin layer of creamy white head and a semi translucent, syrupy appearance. Light aromas of english toffee, along with a touch of honey and some grassy hops. The flavor is quite a nice balance of cookie dough maltiness and bitter hops. Some floral marigold flowers and nutty almonds make a palate appearance as well. Final smack brings out the bitter hop characters more cleanly.

Pours to a clean brassy body with a thin white head. The aroma is lightly bitter and has hints of graham cracker. The flavor is subtle bitterness, yellow grapes, and graham crackers. I also get Hershey’s almond bars. The palate is medium bodied, slick, so-so.
