thedradle (9), , California, USA does not count Sep 25, 2008 One of my favorite pilsners, clean and crisp, how that style should taste! doubleo (966), San Diego, California, USA Sep 19, 2008 On-tap at Vista location. Pours pale yellow with a moderate size white head, spider web lace. Smells sweet, crisp and light malty. Tastes sweet and bright malty with some nice green hops. Tasty for a light ass yellow brew. Thin body, good carbonation. Dogbrick (2348), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jul 5, 2008 This cleverly named Pils pours a clear dark golden color with a medium thin and fizzy white head that burns away steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Spicy Saaz hops aroma. Light-bodied and moderately hoppy with some malt backbone, as well as some spices. The finish is hoppy with a lingering hops aftertaste. Average overall. Oakes (7030), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 15, 2008 Hazy and golden. Mostly saaz and light diacetyl in the nose. Warming diacetyl on the palate. There’s a lot of saaz, medium bitterness for style, and fairly full-bodied malts. My misgivings are the diacetyl (acceptable in the style, but not to this high an amount IMO), and the lack of voluptuousness in the malts (they get a bit doughy). goldtwins (3747), Nesconset, New York, USA Feb 25, 2008 Tap @ Vista location. Poured a clear gold color with a white head. Sulfur and corn notes mix into the malt on the aroma. Sulfur and light malt make up the flavor. Bitter finish.
