on tap-pours a white head that laces and pale yellow color. Aroma is soft sweet grain. Taste is grain, secondary light (saaz?) hops-slight flatness. Light body. OK effervescence.

Tap at Vista location: Pale gold hue with fizzy fading head and okay lace. The aroma has notes of grassy and herbal hop, DMS and grainy, mineral water. The taste followed suit, lightly crisp with a bready and corny base. Short finish and zero depth. The mouth feel is crisp and watery. Well it is a pilsner...

Golden color with fizzy head. No aroma with a horrible crisp taste. Not a big fan of this one.

Clear yellow with fizzy white head. Faint bready aroma. Bready/malty taste with metallic notes and a crisp finish.

On tap at the Irvine location. Pours a transparent color of straw with a thin layer of quickly dissipating, soapy white head. Nice, clean aromas of fresh grassy hops and a clean, balanced light maltiness. Light bodied, crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. Lots of grassy hops up front, then fades to some sweet light malts for a balanced, rounded out palate. I find myself mentally comparing this to Prima Pils, but it seems to be even a touch hoppier and maltier than my recollections. Nice, clean, hoppy, refreshing pilsner.

tap at La Quinta brewpub... clear pale yellow body. Aroma was grassy hops with some buttery goodness, but it came off all messed up and off balance. And... go figure.. the flavor was just the same. Didn’t care for this. The Pils down the street at Babes is much better.

The beer pours to a golden body with a white head and decent lacing. The aroma is light. Spicy saaz hops, crystal malts. The flavor is pretty basic with saaz and crystal malt. Clean. The palate is actually pretty substantial. Medium bodied, bitter.
