May 15, 2008 Hazy and golden. Mostly saaz and light diacetyl in the nose. Warming diacetyl on the palate. There’s a lot of saaz, medium bitterness for style, and fairly full-bodied malts. My misgivings are the diacetyl (acceptable in the style, but not to this high an amount IMO), and the lack of voluptuousness in the malts (they get a bit doughy).

Jan 14, 2008 on tap-pours a white head that laces and pale yellow color. Aroma is soft sweet grain. Taste is grain, secondary light (saaz?) hops-slight flatness. Light body. OK effervescence.

Dec 4, 2007 Tap at Vista location: Pale gold hue with fizzy fading head and okay lace. The aroma has notes of grassy and herbal hop, DMS and grainy, mineral water. Feb 25, 2008 Tap @ Vista location. Poured a clear gold color with a white head. Sulfur and corn notes mix into the malt on the aroma. Sulfur and light malt make up the flavor. Bitter finish.

Aug 15, 2009 On tap at the Pizza Port Session Ale fest. Listed as the Irvine Jagged Little Pils. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Aroma is grassy and bready, sweet with herbal, Saaz hops, Tons of them. Taste is clean with grass, saaz, a bit earthy and nearly some leather. No complaints here. Light bubbles, dry.
