LilKem (1169), Marietta, Ohio, USA Mar 25, 2007 one of my faves of the strong ale fest this year. i have a little star beside the name on the list so i remembered to get it again. some earthy flavors with a little spice, some white pepper and anise, with a little sour cherry and some raisin and some apple. goldtwins (3747), Nesconset, New York, USA Feb 7, 2007 10th Annual SD Strong Ale Fest: Poured a mildly hazy copper with with a small off-white head. the aroma was mildly tart and yeasty with a hint of leather. Fruity underneath. The malty flavor had a fair amount of fruity character to it. Dark fruits and some tartness. Sweet but light finish. Light bodied.
