goldtwins (4078), Nesconset, New York, USA Feb 25, 2008 Tap @ Vista location. Poured a clear light copper with an off-white head. Some citrus hops mixed with light malt in the aroma. Citrus and earthy hop flavor that rides on top of a bland malt. glaze0101 (79), USA Feb 2, 2008 [Part of sampler @Vista, CA]dark yellow/gold colour. hopy, as many San Diego County pales are. clean mouthfeel. badlizard (2325), Berkeley, California, USA Jul 20, 2007 Clear golden amber with no head. faint citrus and malty aroma. Sweet citrus taste, malty, slightly hoppy finish. riversideAK (2648), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jul 19, 2007 Nice tart citrus hop aroma. Some lemon, some orange, and some grapefruit. Pours gold with a nice fluffy white head. A nice balance between citrus hops and sweet bready malt. Some lemon notes as well. Not overly carbonated. Pretty cmooth. It finishes nice. jennajlover (101), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 17, 2006 Had at Vista California after real ale fest, very tight and astringent which believe it or not was ery pleasing after all the malty goop at real ale fest, very bitter with a great clean crips flavor in the endo. ABUSEDGOAT (1934), California, USA May 12, 2006 tap at La Quinta brewpub: this was their best offering IMO. It had more flavor than the IPA. Citrusy and grapefruity hops with usual notes of caramel. An enjoyable APA. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA Mar 20, 2004 Light amber color with smallish head. Aroma of light caramel. Flavor had a light bitterness to it and a disgusting bitter aftertaste, like dishwater.
