Jul 5, 2008 Sample at the Irvine brewpub. The beer is a clear dark reddish-amber color with a thin and creamy beige head that burns away slowly. Stringy lacing. Aroma of caramel and toasted malt. Medium, clean body with flavors of sweet caramel malt, nuts and mild hops. The finish is roasted nuts and malt with a lingering sweetness left over. Slightly above average overall.
