Jan 14, 2008 on tap-pours an off white head and copper/red color. Aroma is mild medium malt-caramel/hint of chocolate/molasses, peat. Taste is medium malt-caramel/molasses, secondary earthy hops, hint of fruit.

Feb 25, 2008 Tap @ Vista location. Poured a slightly hazed red-copper color with no head. The aroma was of sweet nutty malt. Toasted malt flavor.

The beer pulled a reddish-brown with a nice light tan head with the lace a velum like sheet. Nose was mostly malt; sweet and clean, start was sweet with a light to middling top. Finish was mildly acidic, the hops fair to middling in their spiciness, dry and a fairly drinkable beer, albeit a bit light for me, or was that because of all the big hopped beers?
