Commercial Description:
This Ale is known for it's roasty flavor and sweet mouth feel. We use a generous amount of Munich and Crystal malts leading to a deep red hue which helps define this splendid Ale.

If I were stuck on a desert island with kegs of this stuff and a beautiful woman, I’d kill her so she wouldn’t drink the beer...it’s that good.

At the brew pub in vista ca, nice fresh malty aroma and some sweet flavor on the palate, great hoopy bitterness that did not overcome the brew. Very cool brew

On-tap at Vista location. Pours dark red/brown with a moderate sized, offwhite head. Smells dark fruity malty sweet. Tastes malty red fruit sweet with some hops, sweet. Medium body, crisp carbonation.

On draft at Vista location. Color was dark auburn with a light brown head. For the style, the flavor and aroma were good. Aroma of red malt, almost strong ale smelling. Caramel and fruit. Flavor of cocoa, fruit, red malt. A bit unrefined, but still good tasting.

Copper red with fizzy white head. Faint caramel aroma. Sweet caramel taste with toffee notes some roastiness and dry finish.

This had a good head.Aroma was a nice hop floral.I couldn’t tell the color because I was drinking it outside at the brewery at night. It tasted somewhat carmelly, and malty.kind of flat pallette.Finished kinda weak.Pretty good, but I’ve had better.

A dry and crisp citrus hop aroma. Not overly powerful though. Some roasty malt is evident as well. A dark reddish amber with a thin tan head. Flavor is a mild roasty toffee flavor with pleasant mild citrus hops. A little grapefruit peaks through in the flavor. Finishes dry. A suprising thirst quencher and a nice session beer.
