Commercial Description:
Wutizit-Experimental Ale The name says it all. This beer follows no style guidlines. Instead it showcases three distinct flavors( orange, chocolate, and rye) that blend to form one unique drinking experience. Brewed with chocolate rye malts, aged on organic criolla cacao from peru, and infused with the refreshing flavors orange including over 20 pounds of fresh clementines! This rermarkably drinkable ale holds one last surprise, an ABV of 9%, though, you'd never know it.

On tap at Hamilton’s during the 2nd saturday event featuring Adam Carbonell brewmaster at Back Street Brewing of Vista. Pours a deep black with an off white head. The nose has a nice maltiness with ripe fruit and chocolate notes. Flavor has a sweet maltiness along with rich cacao followed by the rye malts poking through and a nice tangy fruit underlying all. Great carbonation although it was really cold when I started drinking it, as it warmed up the rye and orange flavors really began to come out, and was really good. The abv is very well concealed, making this one a silent killer~ Nice Brew A.

Dark brown with a small head and ok lacing. The aroma is of coffee and orange peel. The flavor is of coffee, nuts, oak, rye and chocolate. A somewhat dry texture. A good beer, but nothing special.

On tap at Stone. Pours with a murky brown body and a small off-white head that goes quickly. Aroma of coffee, some orange peel. Taste is coffee, some orange peel, chocolate powder, roasted malts. Fizzy mouthfeel and kind of dry. Odd for the ABV.

On tap at Hamiltons. Pours with a dark brown body with a reddish hue topped by a thin to medium thick head with a good amount of lacing. It’s full of roasty malt notes, spicy notes and some coffee notes with an underlying bitter hoppiness. Medium to full bodied and smooth.
