DrBayern (1001), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Mar 31, 2008 Draft at the brewpub on 3/24/2008. Clear gold with a solid white head and some good lace, a nice looking Pils. Aroma is grainy and husky, with some spicy hop notes coming through. Light/medium body, assertively carbonated, and a pleasantly dry palate. The malty sweetness dominates the flavor, with some soft bitterness coming in quite late. Not quite enough of a hop bite.
ratman197 (2478), Arvada, Colorado, USA Oct 30, 2008 Bomber poured a clear yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of straw, spicy hops and a hint of citrus. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw and spicy hops with a crisp dry moderatly bitter finish. BlackDonald (1039), North Carolina, USA Aug 11, 2008 This has the possibility to be a decent pilsner, if it works out some of its imbalances. Husky grainy malt texture, sweet, and lacking in hop bitterness, some lemony acidity and light carbonation. ChrisJ (98), Denver, Colorado, USA May 22, 2008 Draft @ the brewery. Poured in yellow gold with a small one fingered off-white head. The aroma was earthy malts, cereal, and grains, no real hop notes. The flavor was citrus (lemon) and some honey. As others have said I picked up a floral bouquet. Clean crisp finish with a light mouth feel. I wanted more hops. Passable. RSRIZZO (1078), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Nov 17, 2007 Had this beer at the All Colorado Beer Fest on 11/10/2007. Aroma is a faint malt scent. Color is a bright gold with fair carbonation and a thin head. Taste has a sweet malt flavor and very mild bitterness but then has a bad after taste. Its just not a good beer.
