A Mes rate: cask at the Harlequin.
Golden brown with a thin white film. Peat and diacetyl are the order of the day it seems. Pretty sure we’re just getting the same beers but they’re being announced differently. Caramel and butter finish. Rank.

Cask (gravity) @ The Harlequin, Sheffield, England. @ [ RBESG 09 ]
Clear light to medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, cream caramel, toffee, butter notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090717]

[RBESG, Sheffield]
Cask @ Harlequin, Sheffield.
Pours hazy copper with a fine, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has loads of butter, light caramel-toffee. Low carbonation, rater thin. Flavour is sweet, buttery and grainy. Not good.

[cask @ RBESG 2009] Tons of diactyl in the nose with sourness--yuck. Foggy amber with lasting, white, large bubbles. Butterscotch flavour from tons of diacetyl and moderate bitterness. Light body, mouth coating, though clean finish.
