Cask Stillage at the Memorial Hall, Northwich Beer Festival 19/09/2008 Hop and some fruit aromas. Bronze coloured and fruity with a little dryness and bitterness in a crisp malt finish.

Cask @ Smithfield Hotel, Manchester M4. Pours a dark amber color wit a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma with some hints of coffee. Roasted malty caramel flavor wit some hints of coffee. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Clear medium brown amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light notes of coffee, light yeasty, leather, barnyard notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft, finish feel is light metalic. [20090122]

nice dark colour but quite light on the taste. Nice malty presence throughout. good session beer
