Bottled. An amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and touch of bread , but also with a slight acidity.

bottle, Danke nach Bochum! Hazy, dark amber-brown colour, vinegary nose. Quite sour, reminding me of vinegar, some nice malty and hoppy flavours underneath.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep amber coloured, mid-sized fluffy head, slowly collapsing; vinegar, sweet-malt and a tinge of hops in the aroma; sweet-bitter flavour with a distinctive fruity acidity, light bodied; sweet-malty finish, covered by a big dash of apple-vinegar. Hardly drinkable.............

(swing top bottle, courtesy of Koelschtrinker) Cloudy, murky brown colour with a short and slightly off-white foamy layer. Light-sweet and slightly roasted malty nose with a tinge of sourness. Light-bitter and sourish fruity flavour, slightly toast-malty taste with the typical house infection; moderately dry, slightly toasted and tart finish (10.06.08).

<i>Bottled. </i> Clear nut brown, small head. Notes of coffee up front. Dryish with clean, rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Papery and dusty some light roasty malt flavours. Low bitterness.
