Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of wheat and citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of wheat and hops, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, hazy, bigger creamy head with a good lace; sweet wheaty, but also sourish-moldy nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; becomes very tart and bitter in the - first - sweetish-fruity finish. A badly balanced brew.......

(swing top bottle, as Burg Bier, courtesy of Koelschtrinker) Cloudy, orange colour with a big and firm foamy white head. Intensively sourish fruity aroma of mandarin and citrus with a light wheaty touch. Sour-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonated mouthfeel. Very yeasty and slightly wheaty taste with citrus-fruity notes and a rising yeasty and slightly hoppy bitterness towards the finish, which is furthermore slightly tart and barley-malty. Pretty imbalanced Hefeweizen (10.06.08).

Bottled (also called Burg Bier). Clear golden, rich airy head. Fruity malty nose. Dryish with clean, bold mouthfeel . Bready and fruit with notes of dusty melon. Finishes with some bitterness.
