Bottle, bought at the brewery. Cookiedough nose. Amber, low head. Fruity notes: pears, apples, nuts, low on the roast, ok herbal hop counterpoint. Mediul to light body, somewhat flat mouthfeel, light nutty retronasal.

Bottle (Dank an Jonas !): A bit hazy, amber coloured, mid-sized beige head, quite quickly collapsing; light dark-malty nose with faint traces of nutmeg in the background; light to moderate sweetish flavour, soft MF; light caramelly-malty finish with a very shy bitterness in the very end. Not bad, but a bit monotonous.........

(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a short foamy white layer. Sweet and slightly dusty toasty and (chest-)nutty malt aroma with light notes of caramel and vague shades of dark fruits. Moderately sweet flavour, quite light bodied with an almost crispy mouthfeel. Toast-malty base with nutty and faint caramelly side effects; quite dry and malt-accented sweet-bitter finish with a nutty aftertaste. Decent Dunkel (07.07.08).

bottle. Dark brown colour, large head. Full-bodied and pleasantly hoppy for a Dunkel. Flavours of roasted malt also present. Well-balanced Dunkles.
