Jun 25, 2008 (bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet, strawy malty nose with a light touch of sour dough and faint herbal hoppy notes in the background. Light-bitter flavour with sweet malt giving the right balance, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly grainy finish with a whiff of hoppy bitterness. Balanced brew (24.06.08).

Mar 4, 2008 tap. Maltsweet nose, honey. Pale golden, white lace on the glass. Straw malt base, a bit fruit, ligh candy notes. Hop aromatics retronasal. Mellow wellagered chewy mouthfeel. Nice.
Quack-Duck (1973), Bodensee, Germany
Jun 29, 2007 bottle, bought at the brewery. Golden colour, large head. Hoppy nose. Hoppy flavours, slightly citrusy, combined with a lovely malty body. Similar to the Pilsener by the same brewer, but more malt-accented.
