Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, rather quickly diminishing beige head; fruity (berries) and dark-malty nose; light to moderate sweetish flavour, light to medium bodied; light sweetish-fruity, dark-malty and almost a bit bitter finish. Quite pleasant, well rounded Dunkelweizen...........

(bottle) Hazy, dark brown colour with a diminishing, slightly tanned frothy head. Dusty and sweet toast-malty nose with a light wheat-character, restrained fruity notes and quite strong phenolic spice. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Dark and toast-malty taste, restrained fruity and spicy with a rather slim and short but quite refreshing finish. Not a very complex but still likeable Dunkelweizen (09.07.08).
