Bright copper amber colour with a diminishing white head. Ginger totally dominates the nose and flavour. There’s a bit of fruitiness in the mouth, perhaps, but you struggle to find it. This is really a one-note beverage. I like ginger so I did enjoy drinking this but it is a novelty rather than a decent beer you could drink regularly. madquacker (729), Canberra ACT, Australia

Nothing wrong with this however; spicy, ginger, some herbal hops, pretty sweet malts. All in the name of fun I guess. Wonderful summer drink. Nisse666 (483), Göteborg, Sweden

Deep golden colour, big head rapidly diminishing. Aroma of ginger, syrup and and some fruit, hints of toffee. The flavour is very sweet, syrupy and sugary, with a moderate but nice ginger burn in the finish. Hardly any hops. Not really my kind of beer, but drinkable. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 14, 2009 A light malty nose, not much ginger there. Sweet in the mouth with slight ginger spice. It does indeed have some nice ginger to it but is a little shallow and sweet for me.
