Ungstrup (11154), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 29, 2003 A light amber beer with a fine head. The special character of this beer reveals itself in the aroma, which is a weird spicy aroma. The flavor is sweet and weird with notes of ginger, though not pronounced. The flavor lingers on the lips. omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Oct 10, 2002 Bottled. Amber colour. Ginger aroma. very sweet. Pronounced ginger flavour, sugary finish. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 22, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Reddish golden with a small head. The ginger really stands out - sharp and marked - but is soothed somewhat by sugars. Quite an unusual experience. 071200 yespr (6400), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 12, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a slowly collapsing white head. Spiced aroma of - ginger....why?
Flavour is initially sweet and somehow that suites the ginger well - nicely balanced yet with a distinct ginger bite/sharpness into the far finish with a light perfumery feel. Very unusual yet by far the best ginger spiced beer I’ve had. sk8viking (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Sep 20, 2004 Golden color, Medium hoppy aroma and taste, full body, light bitter sweet finish.
