Bottle. Hazy gold with a thin foam. Aromas are biscuit and caramel malts with vegetable dandelion and burdock soft drink notes. Has a light peach and pineapple fruitiness. Spicy with more aniseed than expected. Flavours are sweet and herbal with some butter. Floral with light fruitiness. Moderately dry on the finish. Has a plastic aftertaste.

Bottle. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly hopped and malty, and the flavour is malty and sweet with a bitter finish. Overall an average malty, sweet and bitter beer.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s. Attractive toffee and banana aroma. There was a sweet when i was a child - a toffee and banana sweet - which smelled just like this. Yellowy pale appearance. Stiff carbonation. Light feel. Dry. Badger do like making beers flavoured with slightly odd ingredients. This is quite pleasant, but is just a bit too close to lager to get me really excited.

Misty piss looks with no head. Candyish aroma dragging in Allsorts, Dolly Mixtures, apple, dough, thistle and chemical peach. Aniseed and peach air freshener taste, with a little salvaging breadiness. Chemical sweetener aftertaste, too much burning fizz and thinness. Not wasting any more units on this, down the sink with it.

Bottle, from Sainsburys Lincoln. Gold, thin but lasting white head and gentle condition. Sweet grain and earthy herbal flowery notes in the nose, sweet and fruity in the mouth with a hint of peach and a vague earthy metallic note, short finish with a touch of maltiness and fruit but little else

500ml bottle from Sainsbury. Gold in colour, no real head. Oh dear, bad start here as it has diacetyl on the aroma. Butter and dandelion don’t go together. Diacetyl all over the flavour. Then add to that over filtering and pasteurisation and you have a pretty horrible beer. The dandelion element is interesting, but someone forgot to tell the brewer about malt and diacetyl and pasteurisation. Awful..

Bottle from Sainsbury’s: Golden yellow, heavily carbonated. Pleasant grassy, floral aroma. Flavour is sweet, malty and a little oaty. Quite a refreshing beer, maybe a tad sweet but not bad all in all.
